Up to $5,000 for a community project

The Good Community program provides funding to local charities, community groups and not-for-profit organizations who work within the following sectors:

  • Animal Welfare
  • Community & Wellness
  • Recreation & Culture
  • Environment
  • Innovation & Technology

If you have an original idea for a really Good Community project, we want your submission. You could receive up to $5,000.

All applications to the Good Community program will be reviewed by a Tbaytel panel of judges and five finalists will be selected.

The Top Five Semi-Finalists will be entered into a public vote at to decide on which two projects will receive $5,000 each.

Some examples of Good Community projects can include:

  • Work with young people to overcome life challenges
  • Supplies for animal shelters
  • Public arts & culture initiatives
  • Environmental education programs
  • Collaborative projects to nurture ideas in innovation or technology

Campaign Timeline

Launch: March 21, 2017
Application Deadline: May 2, 2017
Voting: May 26 – June 8, 2017
Winners Announcement: June 9, 2017
